About me
Garrett is from Winchester, Virginia and completed undergraduate education at Virginia Tech before going to pharmacy school at Virginia Commonwealth University. At VCU, he developed a strong interest in ambulatory care, particularly in the areas of cardiology, diabetes, and substance use disorders. After completing his PGY1 residency Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) in Asheville, NC, he stayed on with MAHEC for their PGY2 program in ambulatory care. He is enjoying living out his passion of caring for underserved populations with chronic conditions and assisting them with medication access and education. He is excited to be presenting his research project at SERC!
