About me
Charlie Pitts is currently a PGY1 pharmacy resident with the Central Alabama Veterans Healthcare System in Montgomery, Alabama. He is originally from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, but has been a resident of Alabama since starting pharmacy school at the Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy in 2021. Upon completion of his PGY1 program, Charlie will transition into a psychiatric pharmacy PGY2 role at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center in pursuit of his goal to become a psychiatric pharmacist within the Veterans Affairs system. In his free time, Charlie enjoys roasting, brewing, and appreciating coffee; spending time with family and friends; and finding new dad jokes to add to the ever-growing list located in his notes app.
