Hello, my name is Manderrious Glenn — Glenn for short. I am currently a PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) resident at Wellstar Cobb Medical Center. My professional interests center on health-system strategy, formulary management, operational optimization, and aligning clinical excellence with financial stewardship. I am passionate about improving healthcare delivery through data-driven decision-making, interdisciplinary collaboration, and systems-level innovation.
I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and hold a background in psychology from Augusta University, which has influenced both my leadership philosophy and my approach to team engagement and systems thinking.
My current research evaluates the efficacy of rifaximin monotherapy versus rifaximin in combination with lactulose for the treatment of recurrent hepatic encephalopathy in hospitalized patients with cirrhosis across the Wellstar Health System. The study aims to assess differences in clinical outcomes such as recurrence rates, hospital length of stay, and readmissions, with a focus on optimizing evidence-based management strategies within a large health system.
Outside of pharmacy, I am an entrepreneur and founder of PrescriptScent, where I integrate my clinical background with fragrance development, merging science, creativity, and branding.
